Spring semester is only a couple of weeks from being over! I can't believe it! I feel like I've learned more about psychology in the past two months than I have in three semesters of being a psych major. My two classes have been fantastic. Part of me wants to take classes during summer term as well, but then the logical, budget-constrained part of me convinces me otherwise.
In other news, I am still jobless. I searched and searched, filled out dozens and dozens of applications, drove from business to business begging for work, (and repeated and repeated words upon words), but nothing worked out. At this point, I've accepted unemployment. It's only for 2 months, and then I'll be working 2 jobs during school. I'm disappointed, but I'll be able to make it through.
For now, it's time to enjoy the last bit of school, the "summer" weather (snow in May + rain every week = not summer), and the time to relax. I'm also thinking about volunteering for a mental health clinic.... I'll let you know what happens. Happy summer, everyone!

Man, jobs are hard to find all around. But volunteering is such a good idea! It will give you something to do with your time and show future employers that you did something productive even during unemployment.
